VALENCIA CIGAR LOUNGE
The VCL's ultimate goal is to open an indoor cigar lounge here in beautiful Valencia, CA. But in the meantime, we are an eclectic group of friends from all walks and backgrounds who really only have two things in common: our new found friendships and desire to hang out together.

We are not all workmates. We are not all school buddies. We don't belong to some group or organization. VCL friends have little in common except camaraderie and cigaredaderie (LOL).
Our group has as many non-smokers as smokers. We have as many women as men. We have as many couples as we have singles. We have so many races and ethnicities, we could be the U.N. We have as many conservatives as liberals. We have very religious and quite non-religious members. We have loud, outspoken people, and we have quiet and shy friends. We don't even all live in Valencia, and many come from many miles away. But we all consider ourselves good friends, and make every effort to bring new victims to the fun.
There are no membership fees or dues, and 99.9% of our events have no cover or fee. We support local small businesses with a passion. We also raise money for local charities. But perhaps most importantly of all, when one of our members needs a hand, we come together to help.
We are the Valencia Cigar Lounge group of friends, and we'd love to have you on board.

Eventually, the VCL will be a comfortable and friendly indoor cigar lounge for the enjoyment of our members. Furthermore, as a 501(c)(7) entity, the VCL will give back to our beloved community by donating our net proceeds to local charities.

VCL STORY
It all started in 2006, smoking cigars on the patio of Peet’s Coffee and Tea in Valencia, CA. As I would sit on the patio smoking, passersby would stop and strike up conversations. Over time, our favorite time to meet turned out to be Sunday mornings, so we made that a tradition. Our “Cigar Sundays” grew to be a staple in our city, to the point where we had almost 100 followers, 15-25 of whom would show up each and every Sunday. Now, Cigar Sundays are at Schooners at 9:40 a.m.
In 2008, we discovered another cigar patio at the Roast House (RH) restaurant in Valencia. The owner, Mikey, was excruciatingly friendly, and his “Thursday Cigar Nights” always had live music, great food, and free cigars. Even though, sadly, the RH closed, we continued our Cigar Night tradition at Inca Bistro. Now Thursday Cigar Nights are at the Chuy's patio (8-midnight).
